The LSM6DSOX is an IMU system-in-package; a series of integrated circuits enclosed in a chip carrier package, typically used inside handheld devices, e.g. mobile phones, music players. It features a 3D digital accelerometer and gyroscope to boost system performance, using low-power optimisation to enable an “always-on” feature on surrounding devices.
