On the other hand, the high dielectric capacitors feature large electrostatic capacitance. Applications include power supply decoupling and smoothing circuits.
What are MLCC Capacitors?
Multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCC) are designed and manufactured to consist of a multilayer structure. The structure includes a ceramic material as well as metal conducting layers. Within the MLCC, the ceramic layers enclose the capacitors to minimise heat loss, which in turn increases the efficiency of the capacitor.
Multilayer capacitors benefit from high thermal stability, high current capacity and low ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance) and ESI (Equivalent Series Inductance) in order for these products to work efficiently and effectively across various applications.
